If it's a Guan Sheng ten inch, then I tried it too. Not only was it at the absolute limit (though OK for planetary imaging) but also the weight of the OTA meant, I found, that it was necessary to get some extra counterweights - I ended up going to a gym shop. This meant that setting up was a performance - take mount out, add counterweights, put OTA on.... and reverse to finish of course. It did work, but the second hand C 9.25 which I luckily found a couple of weeks later was much easier!
