up grade

hi. i was thinking of buying a eq6 mount with goto. i was wondering if my 10"dob tube would be able to fit. would i need extras? i was thinking this only because i want abig scope on a go to mount to help me look for ohter deep space objects.

or whats your opinion on buying a 16" truss tube dob?
would this be better and stick to the maps???

thanks

Certainly go for the 16" dob, but instead of maps think about getting an Argo Navis. Just as good as goto for your dob. Better actually 'cos its quiet.

Have a look at the bintel ones 'cos I think they also have the encoders and AN as well though you can get them directly for the Wildcard website.
