[SOLD]Skywatcher PROED80 for sale

Hi,

I've just bought a clone of ZenithStar II 80 APO and after initial testing decided to keep it and put sale my Skywatcher PROED80 ED OTA.

This is exactly the same model as bintel sells on their website. See link below
https://www.bintelshop.com.au/Product.aspx?ID=7290

I bought it from them 9 months ago for the listed on their page price. It comes in original box and everything listed below is included.

1)PROED80 ED Apochromatic refractor OTA(gold colour) in excellent condition.
2) 8x50mm finderscope(gold colour) and a finderscope mount(white colour)
3) Tube rings(white colour) with piggyback camera mount
4) 20mm Dovetail plate

A 1.25-inch adaptor with a T-thread camera adaptor is included too.

Also I will add a 1.25" Mirror diagonal.

The price is $530 + actual shipping cost. Pick up is free.

For extra $70 I can add an equatorial mount which should be more than OK for this OTA. Please note that the mount weight is more than 14 kgs and postage cost can be very high.

Both the OTA and the mount sold

cheers,

Michael

price dropped to $380 + actual shipping cost.

If nobody is interested in it for a week for this price I'll withdraw my add and keep the scope. There is no rush for me to sell it for the price lower than it.

The EQ mount is also still available and you can get it for $50. I believe the similiar mount is sold for $299 by Andrews and I am actually suprised nobody wants it for $70.
Sorry, no postage for the mount as it's very heavy. Local pick up only.

cheers,

Michael

Hi Ozstockman,

Yes, I agree, this is a sensational price for a quality scope.

I am even tempted to put this piggybacked onto my SW135 and use it as a AP scope. hmmmm, now if I had the cash, I would snap it up in a second!

When you say original box, do you mean the aluminium case that it is supposed to come with or the packing cardboard?

Hi Chris,

No, it's just a cardboard box. These aluminium cases do not make any sense for me when you need a scope but must pay $150 more just because it comes in such a nice case. The ED80 OTA was on my EQ6 mount all the time. If I bought it with this aluminium case it would have no use for me it all. It would be just like to throw $150 away or put it in a storage room for 9 months.

cheers,

Mike
