Well I'm fairly certain there is no civilisation associated with the blue star (SN2007SR) in the right hand arm of NGC4038/39.
Ah, yes I have... pretty much all of his works. As well as "doc" Smith's, Asimov's, Silverberg's, Harrison's, Pratchett's etc etc. You name any of the top SF guys and I've either read their books and/or owned them.
