I pick up the 12" LB today.

And wouldnt you know it, it forecast for rain for the next week, bloody typical.

AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! !!

Say that again!!!. Sometimes I think they've packed some nanobot manufacturing plants in the box my Meade came in. Every time I look there's something else there

Yeah, no kidding and I'm going to need that time. I'm trying to collimate it now, hence the reason I'm online. Trying to find a tute.

I made a big mistake from the get go, I replaced all the collimation screws with bobs knobs but i think I should have waited because now it's so far off I fear it will never come back .

I ordered the orion collimating eyepiece with the scope so I'm using that but I'm thinking I should have gottten a laser collimator, might get one tomorrow.

Damn, you see now we all have to "follow the White Rabbit" down the path of the LB 12".

Great purchase, such a sexy looking scope will keep you admiring it for a while inside while the weather is cruddy. Its like that Armorall ad on TV. Vacant stares off into the distance.
