10 X 10 minute images, no darks flats or bias. Camera was running at full cooling. Focus could have been a little better and more longer subs would have improved the image.
Gee Doug, you cant complain about that one, very nice, did you crop this one Doug, I sort of like the very wide field on objects like this, however you captured this well.
nice one Doug,
starting to pull in some nice detail there but like you said more data would bring it right out.
cmon Doug, wheres the 20 min subs, hit it hard mate.
should be no problems with the payload you got on the mount
Galaxies are looking great doug, im suprised you are getting so much imaging in , the weather has been so uncooperative here in Melbourne for the last 8 weeks.
I see you are running a full cooling, did you solve the fogging/icing issue you had?
Nice image doug but i must agree the diffraction spikes spoil it a bit.
Is the picture cropped?and if so have you considered getting the tak field flattener/reducer?
I have a fs102 myself and they are a great scope

Clive
Hi Clive, It really seems dependant on the ambient temprature. It was sitting at about 10 degrees C and no ice formed It looks like once the temp drops below about 5 degrees I have an ice problem.

I have thought about the reducer but $ are the only problem. The minister for finance seems to think a divorse may be cheaper than astro photography. No sense of humour at all.
