SPSP2008 Time Lapse

Hi All,

I was just surfing the Mogg Adaptors site and saw this time lapse done at SPSP2008.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQpaj...l_mainpage.htm

Take a look! Its great to watch the stars come up and all the little red "fireflies" run around.

Cheers

Chris

Wow, that's amazing to watch ... and worth downloading.

A good tool for saving YouTube clips can be found here:

Very cool, Steve showed me that about a month ago and I forgot to post about it!

We both agreed that next time he should do longer exposures and maybe point a bit towards the south as well, but the East view down the field is also perfect.

Thanks Chris. Amazing that someone thought to do that. I wonder which one of those red lights was me trying to find my way around the field. Good fun. Met a lot of people simply by being "lost".

Cheers,
Greg

Another dead simple way to download youtube clips without downloading ANY software is:
- find the video you want in youtube
- copy the url at the top
- change "youtube" in the url to "voobys", hit enter
- click the download button
- save the file

eg:
Instead of:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQpaj...l_mainpage.htm

put in:
http://www.voobys.com/watch?v=DQpaj3...l_mainpage.htm

Simple as that.
