Hi Leon, it looked good to me. the larger image was a 634kb download.

Was it meant to be bigger?

Cheers

Yea Ric, it was, what I'm trying to do, like some do here is have a link in my normal deep sky post, so that people can click on that and then see the full size image.

But I don't think I have it quite right yet.

Others post this link and then the image opens, not with all the stuff that I had with my image you just saw.

Ah, well I will keep at it.

Leon,

The image displayed on screen is 912x607 pixels, but if I 'download photo' on the right hand side I receive a 1600x1025 image.

So that's fine, isn't it...?

I think leon wants it to work simply by clicking a link and displaying the full size image in the browser...

Nice shot leon, high res is really the only way to show people what you've done with any sort of detail...

Yeh that's better than posting direct to IIS, nice!

Have you considered PBase like I use?

Leon - If you right-click on the link that says "Download Photo" and "copy link location" and paste that here a user can then download the hires jpg file straight up. This link I've provided downloads the full 2.5Mb image file to my computer - and then it opens itself in whatever application you've set to handle image viewing - in my case Windows Photo Gallery. I reckon that this is preferable to just displaying it in a browser, as you have more control over how the image is presented.

There are hundreds of free photo websites around Leon. If Google doesn't push your buttons, use Google to find its own competitors!

Looking good Leon, Maybe the site only allows images of a certain size. Worth checking.
