Moon 26th May

This photo was taken about 24 hrs after the last one I posted.
Specs for camera and scope are the same. 1/400th sec at ISO 80.
This time I used "Clarify" in PaintShopPro to finish off the image.
It's a very nice function, it seems to combine highlights, shadows, contrast and midtones, all in one slider, though it can add unwanted noise if you go overboard with it.

Great image Jeanette

The seeing and cold weather have been very kind to moon imagers over the past two or three nights here in southern Sydney. The current moon is a wonderful target, and is still my favourite solar system object by far. It holds the most interest, detail, mystery and beauty for me. You've captured it very well.

Nice series of images Jeanette.
Have you thought of cropping each image and mosaicing to make a relief of the whole moon?
Your images are worthy of such.
Well done

Jeanette

Is that a single image, or stacked subs?

Another great moon Jeanette. I love full-disk lunar images.
