is there any local astro events in sydney city?

is there any astro party or any astronomy related events in sydney .....


i have not come across any local events in sydney city,it would be great if we could organize local event at park or anywhere suitable near sydney city just for few hours.

There are regular events at the Sydney Observatory...usually in conjunction with school holidays...

Check out their website and I am certain that there will be some information.

Althouhg not City Sydney, Macquaire (spelling) University does do a semi-annual astronomy thing or too as well...

There are also monthly new moon meets to observe/image at various places outside of Sydney, including the central coast, blue mountains, and south/southwest.
