Trouble saving masked images using pixinsight

Hi,

Im having trouble saving masked images for some reason. It seems to happen regardless of whether I have the mask enabled or disabled before saving the image. What happens is that it is not the image on the screen that is saved, rather the image to which the mask is being applied.

Im doing something simple wrong here but cant work out what. Can any pixinsight users out there help? Im sure theres a simple answer.
