Mars approaching M44 (Praesepe)

Hi All,

I just took these images of Mars nearing M44 using a tripod-mounted K100D. The first was a 6 sec exposure with a telephoto lens set at 165mm, and the second was an 8 sec exposure at 225mm. Both at 1600 iso. I was really just testing out if the camera can record the cluster, and it seems to have done an OK job.

Don't forget that Mars will pass through the cluster next week!

Cheers,
Stephen
