Hi all,
this image is quite an interesting object.
It looks reminiscent of a planetary neb but the central
star is still intact.
The nebulosity is believed to be produced from the rapid
spin of the star. Perhaps it has began the shedding of its
outer layer ready to go super nova???
You can just make out the shock waves in the surrounding H
areas of the larger Ngc6188 to the left.
Any way, have had relatively poor nights, this night was better
as I gained altitude.
Still a little soft.
