Hi Guys,yes it is me again, just one question I would like to ask.

Now that I have modded the 5D I expect that I would have to take, new flats, bias, and dark frames to suit the new filter.

Would this be correct, or can I use the ones I took prior to replacing the filter.

Hi Leon,

Don't you take new flats each time you reconnect the 5D to the scope?
The orientation changes when you re-attach it.
You need to, unless the camera is permanently on the FSQ all the time.

As for darks/bias, I don't think the mod changes the dark noise or bias noise.

I usually like to take fresh darks/flats with every session though, but that's just me.

Actually Andrew, yes I do take need flats etc, when the camera has been changed, should have thought of that before I asked the question

I don't blame you Leon.

If I was to mod my camera, they'd need to give me CPR after I turn the thing on.
