SOLD - Meade 8" SCT LX100 PLUS whole box and dice PRICE SLASHED

With great reluctance, I have decided to part with my first ever scope as I am now just interested in visual stuff (cant compete with you fantastic guys'photos) and have a 12" Lightbridge now. Also moving soon - some things have just got to go.
This is 8" SCT on very solid chrome plated tripod, (Made in USA I think)with equatorial wedge. The scope comes with heavy duty fork mounts, 2 speed drive, Permanent periodic error correction called "Smart Drive" which corrects for worm gear errors to 5 arc sec or less. VERY SOLID. OTA in Meade rigid case. Original instruction manual.
This is what it comes with .....THE LOT!!
Field flatteners 6.3 and 3.3 mm.
Hartman mask
Baader solar filter
Telrad
Declination motor drive
Controller, 90 deg eyepiece holder, regular eyepiece/camera holder
Off axis guider
eyepieces 12. 40, 6 mm
OIII filter
Camera piggyback fitting
Nebula filter Meade 911
Illuminated recticle eyepiece
Camera (film) Canon AV1 with 3 lenses (if you are interested)
Camera adapter for Canon AV1
Meade DSI camera with autostar software
Dew shield
Hand compass for pointing in right direction
plywood set up triangle for Brissie latitude

I am in Northern Brisbane suburb and would like to sell as a JOB LOT and buyer collects, as there are soooo many things to pick up. I am looking at around $2200 the lot.
I purchased this scope in 1994 new from York optical. Stored in shed, never gone further than 10 metres outside shed. Anyone interested? PM me
PRICE SLASHED NOW $1850

Amateur Questions

Hi just quick ones:

1- Do you still have it for sale?
2- Does it has a GOTO controller? ( I have an ETX PE with one of this handheld computers, is it the same?)
3- Would it be possible to have a look? I would come to Brisbane.

Thank you

YES IT IS STILL FOR SALE
In answer to your question, it is not GOTO (as what I understand that to mean) When you switch it on - after polar aligning - the RA motor runs, thus keeping the scope pointing at the same place in the sky. Whilst you are running it, you can de-clutch the drive and point to another object, then tighten up the clutch and it will stay on track.
I also have installed a declination motor which, by pressing the button on the controller, will move it north or south. Buttons on the controller also move it east or west in RA. The original Meade manual fully describes all the functions of the electrics, which includes training mode to get it to track more accurately for photography purposes
My suburb is Burpengary, off highway south of Caboolture. I am in on weekends, and welcome to have a look.

Thank you

Hi

Thank you very much for your answer.
I should have explained it better. I'm looking for a SCT 8" Meade probably a LX90 that has the same controllers (Autostar) as an ETX which is what I currently have.

Apparently (someone told me) there are 2 models of Meade 8" that use this same #497 controller that I can connect my Bluestar bluetooth controller and search using my Mac and Starry Night.

I'm not into photography but more observing and mainly having fun with wife and friends on the backyard, nothing that would justify a superscope ...

Thanks a lot
Cheers

Carlos
