Thought I'd warm up for a DMK run on Jupiter tomorrow morning with a run on Saturn tonight

Let's hope the seeing improves in the next 6 or so hours.

C9.25, 2.5x Powermate, DMK 21AFO4 firewire mono cam, RGB Astronomik filters.

Was good to put the ToUcam away and get some RGB practice.

Hi Matt, thats a sweet, sharp, snap of saturn. Very nice indeed and great colour. Let's hope Joop turns it on for you tomorrow morning...I'm too shagged out to try again so it's up to you

Here's a quick red channel, with a Mitchell 150% in Registax.

I've rotated the pic and included more of the frame, to include Titan at lower right.

You can also the planet's disk through the rings.

The Cassini division is so well resolved.

Looking forward to your Jupiter shots with the DMK.
