Getting back into the saddle

Hi All

It has been sometime since my last attempt a planetary imaging, over 12mth ago, mainly due to moving house, building an observatory (see ATM and DIY Project) etc. Anyway over the past week or two I have been getting back in to the swing of things, last night (29 April) the weather here in Melbourne offered better condition for planetary imaging. The image attached was taken through a 14" LX200R @ f28 with Lumenera LU075C camera + Astronomik UV/IR Filter, a total of 3000 frames where taken at 15fps. The frames where processed through Registax with the best 500 stacked and process for the final image. I am happy with the result but hope to do better in the future.

Anthony

Great to hear that you are back in the driving seat again.

A very nice Saturn Anthony. Very smooth and HUGE image scale!

Were you able to capture any Moons?
