perfect scope for Striker's observatory

Got some loose change Tony? I found the perfect scope for you here!

According to the user review it is a "fine scope for the money" that lets you see Jupiter's moons AND red spot. You can even see Saturns rings!

I want that Mount!

I'll do you a deal David. If someone buys you the scope (yes, we knew you would say it), you keep the scope and I'll have the mount. That's fair!!!

Put it on your Wobblotronic mount. After all, it's only 16".

Oh Wow,
Tony's gonna love that, he could sell his house and just keep the observatory.
He would have to extend it a bit though. a 3 bedroom shed. with roll on roll of roof.....LOL

Tony has been a bit quiet lately . I hope its because he's getting serious scope time with his new toy.

I'm happy with what I have got ATM....

Yes I have been quiet.....reason being family issues..well to be more exact family in-law issues resulting in a death this is why all the pommie relatives are over here visiting for such a long period of time....I wont go into all the details as some of the members here know the situation already.....I have been using the scope but I am really waiting on my camera equipment....I had another short go at Jupiter last night and failed miserably....

No worries, Tony, simply take a deep breath and walk outside and sit in a comfy chair and have a look at the heavens!!! Take a loved one out there as well.

Whilst sitting there last night with my new toucan (with scope) I saw two shooting stars, the milky way and venus. No scope but maybe it is good not to look too close at things all the time but simply take the big picture in!
