woooohooo.. got my crayford :) :)

came very quickly from the states.. was only about a week... now i'll HAVE to start working on the electronic focuser.. no more excuses. I ended up playing xbox last night for a couple of hours.. i just can't seem to kick the habit

i'm amazed at how smooth it is... u hear people always saying the crayfords are that much better than the r & p.. but being someone who's never seen or used a crayford before u can't really guage it cause u'r had no comparison.. but they really are THAT MUCH BETTER!...

Or, at the price of the GS ones why all GS scopes just don't have them standard.

Which crayford did you grab? Price? From? Fitted it yet?
Nosey arent I.

Should make a big difference from the reports of the gs r&p.

What game are you playing on the xbox?

Being at the bottom end of the price range for scopes, they have to try to make them as cheaply as possible. The optics are better than bargain basement though and the crayford upgrade makes the scope just that much better and is well worth the extra cost

Been toying with the idea getting one for my reflector. But I'm worried it won't work because I'm using a pretty low profile helical focuser. I'd have to be careful there wouldn't I ? About not achieving focus I mean without moving the primary towards the focuser? A crayford only has 1" of travel, is this correct? What's the profile of a crayford? ........What did you have for lunch on the 20th of may EL??
