Out of the closet

After a year of imaging, posting some work in baut, and lurking in awe of the work I have seen on this forum, it was time to say hello. These are a few images taken through my first year in astrophotography and I welcome advice and criticisim. Thanks to all of you for the inspirational images I have had the pleasure of viewing on this forum.

Kind regards
Matt

and Matt. Glad to see you out of the closet. Nice way to break the ice. RGB; what a way to start out in imaging, you must be part masochist.

Hi Matt

Great to see you posting your images here, I've enjoyed your work on BAUT - it's definitely improving.

Leon (away) at the moment is another ballarat local. I'm sure he'll be chuffed to have another astrophotographer nearby.

Thanks both for the welcome and a special thanks to glenc for catching my first oops. NGC 1955 is now correctly named.

Kind regards
Matt

Matt,

Always good to see another DSI II user here - welcome. They are a nice set of images and long exposures - especially unguided - well done.

No I have been a quiet observer on this forum for a while. The 'observatory' is three leveled bricks and a tripod in the back yard.

Cheers
