A special happy place for all 2008 Rystars. As I'm still trying to work out this whole website, kindly forgive me if there's anything wrong with this thread. If that's at all possible.
BUT!

Yes, RYSTARS. It was a camp organised by Rotary, held in the sleepy little town of Coonabarabran (which most of the visitors had never heard of). There was about 20-odd students from yr 9 to yr 11, and we got slightly less than four days worth of stellar (haha) presentations (ranging from the different types of telescopes to the discovery of Comet McNaught), seeing different telescopes in use around the area, and observing the WONDERFUL night sky. And it was lots of fun.

And for anyone who doesn't already know... WE'RE IN THE COONA PAPER!!!

there were about 18 students there wasn't there?
well RYSTARS was a lot of fun and i can rightly say that i've never sat through so many slide shows before. srsly

oh and dolphinx if you want to know who i am think more redhead

oh and can you give me photoes 'cuz my camera hated me and didn't want to work AND i still have to write that report
