Crux in HDR

While waiting for Scorpio to rise took a set of images of Crux.

Six sets of exposures from 5x15s at 200 ISO to 15x2min at 800 ISO.

Just practicing for the really hard ones! The sky went foggy soon after so ruining the rest of the night.

I am still feeling my way but the HDR and judicious exposures seem to produce images with qualities that have never been seen before. At least in my experience.

Have to agree Bert that is so sharp, the bugger just fits the lens though, I found that the last time I had a go at it with the 300mm.
