Gold Coast stormy weather

Hi All,

Just got back from QLD, had a great storm one night, got some lightning shots from the 18th floor of the hotel.

I've combined three of them here, all taken with a Nikon D300.

Cheers
Stuart

I was working when this storm hit, shame, that lightning bolt on the left looks to be toward my house, out in the hills.

ooowwww, sparky bits - that looks great!!!! did you have to run and hide or was it a slow moving storm and gave you enough time to get away without getting hailed on or being out in the lightning?
