FOR SALE: Apogee 80mm LOMO Flourite triplet

Here is your chance to own one of these wonderful LOMO 80mm F6 Flourite air spaced triplet apochromats.

The non adjustable objective is in excellent condition and is mounted in a black anodized William Yang tube with a single speed 2", rotatable Crayford focuser.

The tube a has a standard camera mount or you can buy the optional and brand new Takahashi tube clamp for an extra $150.

Visually, this scope is stunning, collimation is dead on. For imaging with small to medium sized chips, the scope can be used without a field flattener. If you intend to use a large chip, I would recommend using a field flattener such as the WO 0.8 reducer/flattener.

Best offer over $1000 will take this amazing scope.

Regards

Lars

Are there no takers at $795? I'll give this listing 1 more week and then it will be pulled from sale.

Test Report

No, I'm sorry - perhaps if you contact LOMO they can give you their QA thresholds. I believe the minimum QA figure for this objective was to be no worse than 1/30 wave PTV

Regards

Lars
