Last interview with Arthur C. Clarke from IEEE Spectrum online

When my copy of IEEE Spectrum magazine arrived in the post earlier
last week it invited you to read an online interview with Arthur C. Clarke
that was made a few weeks after his 90th birthday from a hospital bed in Colombo.

The following day after having noticed the item, Arthur C. Clarke had passed away.

A good read, thanks for the link.

A bit of a glitch on page one though:

"Clarke couldn't pinpoint the exact reference that got him thinking about geostationary satellites. “One of the moons of Mars, Phobos, is always in a stationary orbit,” he mused. “That probably got me thinking.”

I assume this is an error in transcription on the part of the writer ... I'm sure Clarke knew perfectly well that Phobos isn't in a stationary orbit!
