Anyone had a go at video astro with a camcorder.
Intrested to hear anyones thoughts on this.

Can be done, but for planetary objects.
A little blurry at times, as you get all frames stored.. Good and bad.

Still, it easy and fast.

I've often wondered how my firewire DV camera would do with eyepiece projection, but never gotten around to trying it. Being a 3 CCD job you'd think it wouldn't be all bad, if the sensitivity was adequate.
