Mare Orientale - next few nights

For anyone interested in observing the elusive Mare Orientale (a farside Lunar feature that is usually just beyond the SW limb of the Moon) the next couple of nights will offer a very favourable libration that will bring the centre of the Mare into view.

The ideal time to view is just before dawn.

Similar librations will occur in the next couple of months.
