I.D. my E.P.?

Hi Guys,
Can someone help me identify this eyepiece? I bought it 2nd hand here a few weeks ago, and I absolutely love it. It gives a fantastic wide view, is sharp to the edge (almost), and has good eye relief. It gives the Panoptic 35 a run for it's money, just has a bit less contrast.
Anyhow, as the pictures show, it's a 40mm Konig, M.C. (multi-coated), and has a 2 inch barrel. That's all I know.

Thanks,
Jason.

Got that University Optics 40mm Konig look about it, but their stuff normally states "University Optics".

Hi Jason

I think it might be made by a Japanese company called Kasai Trading, who also make the same stuff for University Optics. I only learned about Kasai them when I got one of their excellent Konig 32mm 2" eyepieces from another IceInSpacer. If there is no logo or anyone owning up to making it, ten to one it's a Kasai.

Cheers
Pete

Thanks Pete. It's not the same as their current one, but may indeed be an older version.
Kasai Trading seem to be just a reseller, mainly of GSO stuff, so I wonder who actually makes their Konigs?

Cheers,
Jason.

Kasai traded Japan Optics eyepieces. The modified König is also a delightful eyepiece.
