Nikon D300 first outing

Hi All,

Picked up the camera last weekend, mostly for normal photography, but I though I'd better test it out.

Omega Centauri. 5x 60 secs Iso400. Stacked in photoshop, quickly.

See what you think...

Very nice first results. Was the stack taken at the prime focus of the Meade 10"?

That looks great. I have the d70 now and am thinking about upgrading to the D300 soon. please let us know what you think of the camera as you get familiar with it.
