2 out of 3.

I run ImagesPlus 3.0 under Vista on a laptop connected to a Canon 400D.

The program runs fine under Vista. I use a cable from OPT:

http://www.optcorp.com/product.aspx?...2-243-470-8452

which operates the shutter and a normal USB cable for the rest of the camera. (driver can be downloaded from OPT for this cable).

I note that your camera model is listed on the web page above.

ImagesPlus can operate your camera.

Cheers

I spoke to Mike Unsold who developed ImagePlus and I can't use the app on Vista for a 10d. the reason is Canon hasn't (and probably won't) release a Vista WIA driver for the 10d..............looks liek I'll have to upgrade to a 40d.........damn :-)

Well I kinda got my rig working. As I can't use the image capture function on DLSRFlocus, what I do is use the remote capture software that you can download from the Canon website and use that to take photos then use DLSRFocus to focus the image. It's not the best solution but will do until I get an EOS 40D.

Cheers
