My first shot of the Moon, Mars and Vesta at 10am!

These are a couple of quick shots taken with my compact digital camera at around 10am Saturday morning!

By now you have probably realised it is my attempt at humour! Actually the first samples are from Lunar and Martian meteorites and the third one from a meteor that landed in Tatahouine, Tunisia, in 1931 and is believed to originat from Vesta. I guess it is cheating...but much easier

I got mine from http://www.spacerocksuk.com/ but a word of warning, you may end up buying more than you think! Spend more than AU$1000 and customs will want their slice too. I also got a "24 pounder" (Campos) from http://www.arizonaskiesmeteorites.com/

Both guys at these sites are very helpful and often still on line in the mornings here! I now have a collection of about a dozen meteorites, before finding these guys (a couple of months ago) I had none.
