Another "Denizen" Of The Backyard.

PJ was barking his head off, which meant that a wiggly thing was around. Took a few pics of this little bloke on the wall of the breezeway, at the junction of the ceiling.

Nice photo...
Does he hang around much?
My wife would also go spare if he came around home. My ears still ring from the last snake that visited my place.

Was he very timid? I wonder if he was looking for a handout?
He looks plump enough to be half tame.

I like most spiders, snakes and lizards, but if that was a hairy caterpillar I'd be up on a chair squealing like a piglet Go figure

First time we've have had a goanna in the breezeway, plenty of them in the National Park, immediately behind the garden.
Strange how people are terrified of some creatures and like others.

This bloke gave our dog, PJ, a scare this arvo. The snake was looking for a feed in the breezeway. I think it is a carpet python and is about 7 ft long. It is now safely back in the National Park. The wet conditions are bringing the snakes out. There was a tree snake about 2 metres away from this bloke, but I wasn't quick enough to get a photo of it.
