Hi guys,
just had first light through my new solar filter (Thousand Oaks R-G film)
not a whole lot to look at but it was fun

I like it... I don't know what it is about it. It must be the orangey yellow colour.

i'm glad i did get the thousand oaks film rather than the baader (even though i haven't looked through baader film), its quite pleasing at the eyepiece even as a featureless disc, plus it saves playing with colour filters.

now to get a PST
