Dang it's Hot

After a beautiful cool morning it's now 41 degrees on our front verandah, 34 degrees in the house and in the sun, boy oh boy it almost strikes you down dead to be out in it.
We went down and cooled off in the creek, but the walk back up the hill has left us just as hot as before.
A positive to it though, there'll be clear skies again this evening.

freezing 20C here atm. We did have like 5 days above 40ºC out here at Berwick in december and January. But this February is one of the coldest I can remember, but still sitting at an average max temp for the month that is 2ºC higher than Sydney!

We are having one of the coldest summers here in Sydney that I can remember. Great, except constant cloud.

Reminds me of that BBC series, It Ain't 'alf Hot 'ere Mum.

We had an engineer that arrived from the UK in the Spring in WA, his first trip to the bush prompted the comment as above. He was henceforth known as "Gunner Graham"

I spent the day building a new back yard gate under the shade of our carport, with a nice breeze blowing through, keeping it a pleasant 36 deg C so it wasn't too bad in the end. Didn’t seem too humid so maybe we got off a little lightly?

Cheers

Dennis
