I took this shot in pitch black at ISO400 at 1/400th at f/22 using a Nikkor 300ED, and literally lifted this noisy image out a totally black image. Bit different. Looks good from a slight distance, I think.

Wouldn't it be easier to use a flash

Seriously though, when I first saw it, like Jeanette, I thought it was a lot of photoshopping to make it look like a charcoal sketch.

LOL!! Thanks Andrew, but the result is what was desired. I could photoshop it, but then it'd be a fake!
