Spindle Galaxy NGC3115

Hi Guys,

Not much details there saw this galaxy right in the mddle facing east upwards so i gave it a go. 10 x 5 minutes expo at ISO 400. warmish night at 19degrees ambient.

ive seen images from big scopes of this galaxy..... they dont show a lot of detail as its just so edge on.

A nice shot Eric, definitely beats my attempt hands down.
I shall have to have another go at this little galaxy.

hey thanks Al, Ric & Geoff. not much surface details with this galaxy. THanks for pointing the faint galaxy out geoff, i think there are a few more dimmer ones in the background also.
