How to suck up on Valantines Day

Well did some major sucking up today - even helped her this evening by cooking a BBQ (which she loves) and helping her with setting up her school work. So i gave my lovely wifee these......

then asked can I pour a slab - I am still nursing the reply

Well, I left a large bell of Fereo Rocher on Kym's puter desk this morning, had 6 red roses delivered, and took her out to dinner. Not sucking up really, just saying thanks for all the times she didn't give me a hard time for buying astronomy gear.

Well it started off clear last night, so I set up the telescope early. Of course my wife looked at me with that look - I explained that it was for some early morning imaging..

About 945pm I headed out to check the skies and it was all cloudy I started packing up and then it started raining!! Good timing.

I'll never understand the magic of an astronomy-widow rain dance.

Well Valentines day was interesting for me too !
I did my Thursday night "Classic Rock" radio show as a Valentines day "Special", taking requests and dedications.
I had more requests last night (all by men !) for their sweethearts and lovers that all my other shows combined

Well I got home from going out to lunch with a very attractive old flame, and the skies were totally, and I mean totally clear, so I got the scope out as the sun went down past 30 degrees.
Cooked myself some pasta etc, and did some work while waiting for the moon to disappear. Went out about 10pm and lo and behold, total cloud cover. Pi55er.
Off to bed alone on Valentines day, as the wife is in Dubai this week.

Cheers,
Jason.
Who will have white roses and crystal tumblers ready when she gets home. Oh, and she knows about the other woman, so that's all cool.

I got astro goodies for V-day

Cheers Petra

LOL Mike, I knew you would, I told Sue that it's clear tonight and I bet Mike's setting up.
Realised I hadn't missed much as we returned from dinner and saw that it started raining.

This weather is getting so predictable.

cheryl: but its valentines day... oh ok sweetie, its been cloudy for so long, go ahead!
me: (internally YIPEEEE!!!) you sure?
cheryl: yeah go on (all smiles), i want to set up my cafe press shop anyhow.
