I wasn't referring to HRH Liz as the boss but Mike, but the greeting won't go astray; Liz's is on the 13th Feb, come to think of it, with all those candles, I must apply for the fire permit....

Thanks guys.
Not much of a birthday though i'm afraid - have had to go to Melbourne for work today and tomorrow, so away from my family on my birthday.
Just arrived, after a very long trip - damn flight delays (broken plane, had to change planes, etc).
Anyway, thanks for the well wishes. Unfortunately didn't get clear skies for my birthday.
Was going to get a UHC-S filter, but might save up more for an IDAS one - are they supposed to be better?

Hi Iceman and welcome to IIS
You're better off starting a new thread in Eyepieces, Barlows and Filters and ask for advice there.
We have a few members which use this filter, there's bound to be someone that can help.
Again feel free to ask questions and we'd love to see some of your work.
