the only shot i got... the phone rang

i didnt get a change to try different lenses of settings or anything... next time i'll put more effort in but till then theres this

nice shot, how do you get such a large DOF?, especially with your macro kit?

i could teach you, but i'd have to charge...

i shoot at f16 plus whatever the exstension throws on top and use the flash for extra lighting even in broad daylight

lol, so does a fast shutter speed and lots of light affect your DOf at all?

shutter speed and lighting have nothing to do with dof at all. DOF is controlled thru the aperture and magnification used. the more magnification the narrower the dof, the less aperture (higher the f#) the more dof...
