Hi Everyone

I am selling this scope on behalf of a friend who has no interest in Astronomy. This scope has been in storage for the last 8 years or more.
The vintage of this Celestron is around 1995 - 1997. Being this vintage this
was not made or assembled in China.
The tube has Starbright coatings, 9 X 50 Finder scope. Please note there is only one screw for the finder rings to be mounted to the tube, but this is easily fixable. Tube is F11 at around 2880mm Focal Length(best educated, researched guess)
Losmandy, by the looks were supplying Celestron their mounts back then, as this looks exactly like their current version of the G11. I have made enquiries and by what I have been told the current mounts must be lighter than this one. So I reckon you will find that the gearing on this mount is again better than the current G11 because it is way, way heavy. Please see the pictures.
You can also see that the drive control panel is that of Losmandy's current G11 mount except that they have written Celestron on it and not Losmandy. In fact there is no difference, and includes a PEC control. This mount is upgradable to the Gemini Goto System.
Every part of this setup is in excellent condition, I have set it up and used it to make sure that everything works.
Included in the package is a 1.25" Star Diagonal, a 1.25" 26mm, 20mm and 12.5mm Plossl Eyepiece and the tube is in it's own hard carry case. You get everything in the pictures.
I estimate that the tube in its case is around 15kg and the mount around 35kg. I am willing to ship it anywhere in Australia at the buyers expense and a more accurate idea of weight and shipping cost can be arranged if there are any serious buyers. Pickup is also welcome.
The cost of this setup is $3500 and I think if you where looking at replacing this unit with the same gear you would be up for at least twice as much, I have seen the G11 mount with motor drive on Australian websites for the amount of this whole package.
I have had to compress the images to be able to upload them so I can email a zip file if you so request.
I will accept Direct Bank Deposit or Paypal, but with Paypal please add 3%.
Thanks for looking and please if you have any questions please ask.
