wedgie in the wild

Took this snap leaning out of the car window today near the summit of Mt William in the Grampians, Vic.

This fella was hovering about 10 metres directly above me and Im sure he watched me for a good 30 seconds before gliding off. He was HUGE

Chalk up another one for the Kodak brigade

Why was I at Mt William ? Our communications site equipment went off line because some fool decided to take a $5 AC extension lead and unplug our rack !
Its a helluva drive to there and back from Melbourne in a day.
