2nd night out

2nd night out with the Tak FS102. I re-aligned the mount and took this series of shots (7 X 5 minutes). They were shot at prime focus with Canon EOS 40D at ISO 400 with the 0.8 Field flattener and reducer removed.

Your thoughts please.

That is an amazing image Doug

I love these shots that capture the running man.

You must be really happy with the new scope.

Great shot, even with the reducer removed the field still looks very flat. It would be interesting to see the same shot with the reducer.

Maybe i should try the TV 85 without the reducer and see how flat the field is as every bit of focal length seems to help when imaging small objects like centaurus a.

Great effort Doug. The image has depth. Simply need some short subs to manage the contrast. Look forward to seeing more.
