Illuminator for guiding eyepiece!

I recently have had a lot of trouble with a Meade 9mm Illuminated reticle eyepiece, mainly to do with the illuminator, so i purchased a Celestron Illuminator (model #60011, Made in Japan). I received it today by mail, and its WAY much better than Meade's BS illuminator, i can turn it on with the slightest touch, with one finger even and has a smooth adjustment. I think Meade's illuminator is WOFTAM! I have had problems since new with it (only recently has this problem got to a stage where replacement was necessary) , and internally it looks like its been put together by a 3 year old......

Anyone looking for a replacement Illuminator, you just can't go wrong with the Celestron one!
