Mars from the 10th

Hi all

Here's an old Mars image that I only just got around to processing. I didn't rush to process it, because I knew the data was only average from that night.

It had improved by early the next morning when I got my Saturn data on the 11th, but the night before it was very "wobbly" - some features were visible but the shape of Mars fluctuated by at least 5 pixels in every direction between frames. I think that pointed towards temperature difference between the mirror and ambient, causing tube currents to wobble the image.

Anyway here it is, finally processed so I can delete it off my hard-drive

btw still having difficulty with colour balance on my new laptop and LCD at my new work. On the laptop it's too blue, on the LCD it's too red. I give up

Thanks for looking.

Colour is good on my monitor and you can see Olympus mons to the lower left of the planet or maybe this is come cloud cover. Nice image though.
