Kilcoy Race Day

We haven't had a race meeting here at Kilcoy since the EI outbreak.
Saturday was the first proper meet in many months. (The last event I went to there they had hobby horses and school kids dressed up as jockeys.)
There was a huge turnout with people coming from Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Ipswich, Dalby etc etc.
It was great to see
This is a pic of the 1st and 2nd place winners of the first race.

They're running backwards! In USA they run counter clockwise =0

A cracker of an action photo Jeanette - you should send it to the local rag and get your name in print, not to mention royalties!

Cheers

Flying finish.

Same day different race.
Taken using full 12x zoom so the clarity isn't much.
But out of all the horses in the race, only 3 or possibly 4 hooves are touching the ground.
