Scientists create darkest material

This new material reflects just 0.045 % of light, potentially making it perfect for telescope manufacturers. I guess alot of this depends on manufacturing costs though.

Well it is made out of "Carbon Nanotubes". Now it could cost as much as graphite in a pencil lead, or it could cost as much as a diamond

Even if it costs as much as pencil graphite, they'll say it's a technically advanced product and charge diamonds.

then some bloke will work out how to make it in his garage and sell it as reasonable prices for us normal people.

imagine buying 4L buckets of carbon nanotube paint?
