M46 with NGC 2438

I took this image 2 nights ago before the moon rose.
It is a stack of 5 x 300sec exposures through my VC200L with a 40D guided with q-guider and guidemaster.
The little PN shows well but the open cluster fills the frame. I don't own a focal reducer so an stuck with the image size. The image is 42x30 arcmins in size.

Well done Terry, a very lovely image. I always enjoy this little planetary amongst the cluster, it always gives me the feeling of a smoke ring being puffed out from the star.

Cheers
