Ngc4945 & Ngc2070

Hi All and happy new year!!

My 1st couple of images for the year. NGC2070 Spiral Galaxy and the Tarantula.

Dave, they are both great images, i like the spiral galaxy in perticular, however may i ask about the colour, of the trantula neb, why all the oranges and different colour's.

I have imaged this many times and it always has a very distinct green to blue tone.

Please don't get me wrong, your image is great, but i was just wondering.

Enjoyed NGC2070 Dave. Well done. In fact both images display great resolution. Not certain about NGC4945 colour however. The orange hues really dominate the image even though the histogram looks "relatively" normal.

Thanks people,
agree with the orange hues in those 2 images, wasn't particulary trying to process it that way, it just happened I guess. My image processing flow is pretty much unstructured at the moment so I probably won't be able to repeat it if you asked me to
I was also surprised how much colour came out of the tarantula, last one i took of it was pretty much green/blue as well, but that was before I rip the canon filter out
