High Resolution image of Hourglass Nebula

hi all,

here's an image I did with the GSO 12" scope.

The image shows lots of very interesting details surrounding the region of the Hourglass nebula.

Better look at image here http://www.skylab.com.au/pmsa/Hourglass_closeup.html

cheers

The detail in the dark nebulae and rifts is really amazing. Roundest sars I've ever seen as well. Beautiful image

Lovely capture Paul, well done.

I always find this nebula very interesting to image with its little dust lanes.

Lovely details on display. Well done.
While out early this morning I watched Orion drop in the west and turned my head to the east to find Scorpio rise to greet me in the east. It wont be long before we hit those autumn and winter targets again.
