Ringtail Galaxies and others on a hot night

Last night I managed to image the Ringtail galaxies for the first time!!!!!

Pity it was so hot, the noise took over every image. It was 28 degrees whilst imaging last night!
A massive attack of Hot Pixels and noise!!!

At least I got to try out my new pier and the fixed EQ6

1. Ringtail (Colliding, or Antennae) Galaxies in Corvus - NGC 4038/4039
2. Sombrero Galaxy in Virgo - M104 or NGC 4594
3. Another 47Tuc

Thanks Eric

The Ringtail Galaxies can be seen from Dark Sky and are very interesting to look at visually

Nice images Ken. I like the galaxies in particular.
Was there a problem with darks?

Oh, it's great when galaxy season hits.
Well done.

A nice selection Ken, very nicely done.

I'll have to put the ringtail galaxy on my list as well.

Cheers

You mean there is a 'No Galaxy' Season?
I hunt Galaxies all year round

I suppose some details wouldn't go astray for anyone wanting to image these objects.

All objects imaged with ED80 & 0.6x Focal Reducer, Modified Toucam 840k Pro II, Astronomiks IR/UV filter, captured in Desire, stacked in Registax 3, levels and cropping in Photoshop.

Ringtails - 12 x 3 minutes, heavily cropped and enlarged (original below)
Sombrero - 10 x 140 seconds, cropped rotated and enlarged (original below)
47Tuc - original size, gradient removal.
